Okay, so if you haven’t watched Rebels, and hate spoilers you might want to skip this post.

*********************************************************************************************************DANGER WILL ROBINSON! SPOILERS AHEAD!!! **********************************************************************************************

So I keep watching the episode from season 2 called The Honorable Ones. Because I love, love, love Agent Kallus. Yeah, I’m a sucker for redemption stories. Though I think he actually looked hotter when he was a slicked back, uptight Imperial, but I digress.

But then I got to thinking about the other party to this adventure — Zeb the Lasat rebel, and I realized that once his friends and rebel high command figure out he had a high level ISB agent in his power, and _let him go_ they were not going to be real happy with Garazeb Orrelios. Now granted they don’t find out until Kallus has become a mole inside the Empire and is sending intel to the rebels, but if I’m Admiral Sato or Senator Mon Mothma I am not happy that this agent with high level intel and knowledge of Imperial codes, etc. was allowed to just walk away. It makes perfect sense why Zeb did it given his own code of conduct and his warrior sensibility, but I’m not sure the rest of the rebellion would be as understanding. I think that’s one explanation why Zeb didn’t say anything until he’s forced to it after the episode Inside Man, but I would love to have seen the fallout from that decision by the Lasat.

If there wasn’t any follow up and some form of discipline then Kallus really would be forgiven for thinking the rebellion is a disorganized mess more on the order of “Hey, I have a barn. I have some blasters. I have a ship. Let’s have a rebellion!”
