It’s very odd, but it seems that the writers at BioWare and I were on some strange wave length.  I wrote and completed my Mass Effect story months ago.  I had delayed posting it because I had other deadlines, but now a section a week is going up over in WRITING section on my website.

Meanwhile this DLC, Citadel is released.  I had resisted buying any of the Mass Effect 3 downloads, but after a conversation with someone I decided to give this one a look.  And it’s sort of eerie how many scenes converge between my story and events in Citadel.  I had Garrus teaching Shepard to dance.  They do it but only with the FemShep.  I had Shepard learn to cook.  There’s a big exchange with Kaidan about cooking.  I’m curious to see if this mind meld continues as I move deeper into the DLC.

These other things are sort of side trips since the focus of my story is mostly about PTSD and survivor’s guilt, (and I’m totally going to steal from myself, and bring this shrink over into one of my novels,) but there was this odd coincidence.

I’m not done with Citadel yet so I don’t want to say too much.  I do think it’s another case of missed opportunities as was the case with Iron Man 3 and Star Trek: Into Darkness, but so far I’m enjoying it with some reservations..  I finished the main threat plot line, and now it’s the hanging out and eventually the party.  I’ll gather my thoughts once I’ve played all the way through.
