Like many others I have spent hours reading Andrew Sullivan’s blog at The Daily Dish, and Nicco Pitney at the Huffington Post.

I’m going to link to this video posted by Hamed Rad.  I’m going to warn you, it’s disturbing.  You will see a young woman dying in her father’s hands.  Her only crime?  She went out on the street in defiance of an unjust order from a theocratic leader of an oppresive regime.

Because of new technology this girl’s death cannot be hidden, or swept away.  She cannot and will not be forgotten.

What am I feeling?  Rage.  And grief.  And a desperate sense that I want to _do something_, and there’s very little that I can do.

But I can bear witness.
